The College Vidya report found that women now account for a quarter of all Master of Computer Applications (MCA) Cybersecurity students, and 15% of doctoral candidates in Generative AI. Perhaps the most inspiring aspect of this revolution is where it’s happening: the majority—up to 70%—of new female deep-tech enrolments in 2025 came from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, especially in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
